Sunday 12th July
Join us for our ‘Rose Garden Summer Sensation’ to smell the roses, listen to music, play games. and take in the magic of the Gardens.
Unfortunately, the Rose Garden is not yet accessible for wheelchairs (we’re applying for grant funding to install a ramp in future). The easiest access to this event for those with limited mobility is behind the Castle Ruin on the Castle Drive where we’ll have a few disabled parking spaces. From there, it’s three steps down into the Rose Garden or a short distance along the Castle Drive to view the roses from above.
All other visitors are welcome to arrive at the usual main entrance and make their way up the steps to the Rose Garden. Annie’s Tearoom will be joining us on the Castle Drive with their new coffee van, “Poppy” and lots of tasty treats.
Bring a picnic and enjoy! Free for children and members, adults £5.
Open 10am-4pm, and of course dogs are welcome.
